Chapter 2220 - 639: Xiao Hei Is Captured (Part 5)
An Zhifeng was anxious. He searched every bathroom stall and found Xiao Hei’s phone had fallen into the toilet in the stall by the window, and that window was open.
The bathroom couldn’t possibly have surveillance cameras, and it was a private place with people coming and going, so it was unlikely they’d gather any useful information. An Zhifeng carefully recalled the people who went in and out earlier, but there were so many that no suspicious ones came to mind.
"How long from when Xiao Hei entered the bathroom to when you went in?" An Yiqing asked coldly at the door of the men’s restroom.
"Less than fifteen minutes!"
An Yiqing pushed open the door of the bathroom and walked in without a word. Many men who were in the middle of relieving themselves were startled and turned away. A few curious ones shook their heads as they looked at An Yiqing, but were stared back by An Zhifeng.
Opening the door to the stall by the window, An Yiqing stepped in. Xiao Hei’s phone was still in the toilet. There were no footprints around the window on the wall. It seemed this person was prepared.
Eyes slowly scanning into the distance, An Yiqing activated the Clairvoyant Eye. From the time Xiao Hei entered the restroom to when An Zhifeng discovered it, more than ten minutes had passed. Considering the fastest speed of a vehicle and the traffic conditions on Flower Island, the car might not have gone far.
Penetrating through layers of obstacles, An Yiqing’s gaze spread out into the distance. Centered on the arcade, she searched every visible area but didn’t find any trace of Xiao Hei.
Her heart sank, and An Yiqing closed her eyes, forcing herself to calm down.
A moment later, she took out her phone and dialed Feng Jianxiang’s number.
"Director Feng, my brother was kidnapped from the arcade restroom, could you please pay attention to major traffic routes, and let me know if you see any child resembling him."
"Uncle Xie, my brother was kidnapped, could you help inquire if anyone’s seen him?"
"Uncle Sun, my brother was kidnapped."
All of Flower Island was mobilized in no time. The police department, official organizations, Sanfeng Association, and Li Family Forces, along with many who had received favors from An Yiqing, all took action upon hearing the news.
The storm was brewing from all directions, all for the sake of a missing child.
"Miss, what should we do now?" An Zhifeng felt deeply ashamed; if not for his carelessness, Xiao Hei wouldn’t have gone missing.
"To Xuanwu Sect."
The car arrived swiftly at Fengshui Street. An Yiqing had already called Tang Zhifeng, and upon hearing of Xuan Woo’s disappearance, the previously sleeping Tang Zhifeng was instantly wide awake with fear.
"How could he go missing? Xuanwu’s spiritual power is currently the weakest. Didn’t I tell you to protect him properly?" Tang Zhifeng was also anxious.
An Yiqing’s red lips pressed tightly, "It was my negligence, Old Tang, I need your help."
An Zhifeng opened his mouth, his face filled with regret. Clearly, it was his fault, yet the miss was bearing the consequences.
Tang Zhifeng also knew An Yiqing was anxious, sighed, turned around, and took out six gold coins, slowly shaking them.
An Yiqing held her breath, watching the six gold coins spin and wobble on the table before finally coming to a stop. Tang Zhifeng calculated carefully based on the hexagram and then pointed his finger towards the distance.
"Xuanwu is in the South."
Zhang Yufeng immediately pulled up the Flower Island map on her tablet and handed it to An Yiqing. An Yiqing’s watery eyes scanned it quickly, finally stopping on a specific area.
"Thank you, Old Tang, I have a clue." An Yiqing stood up, politely expressed gratitude, and turned to leave.
"Stay safe!" Tang Zhifeng said softly as he watched An Yiqing’s departing silhouette.
An Yiqing paused, nodded lightly, and left the courtyard.
...
"Girl, there’s a clue. Someone from the gang saw a little boy near a bar, wearing clothes very similar to your brother’s. But that little boy was carried in someone’s arms, seemingly asleep." Just as she got in the car, Xie Xiaoran called.
"Address."
Xie Xiaoran recited a long string, and a cold light gleamed in An Yiqing’s eyes. The location of this bar was near the Galaxy Sect!
"Girl, this bar is one of the three main halls of the Galaxy Sect. Shall I bring people over?" Xie Xiaoran was worried about An Yiqing’s safety. Having known her for so long, he had never heard her voice so cold. Even someone as seasoned as him felt a chill down his spine.
"Thank you, Uncle Xie, but I’ll handle this myself."
...
One of the three main halls of the Galaxy Sect, the Middle Night Bar was resplendent with lights, a place of hedonism and debauchery. Countless men and women, scantily clad, were immersed in this frenzied world of desire. Dancers, both male and female, danced intimately and ambiguously in the dance floor, surrounded by crazed followers. On the other side of the dance floor, countless sins hid in the darkness of numerous booths. In the smoke-infused darkness, men and women indulgently lost themselves in bliss, forgetting reality and indulging in this fleeting carefree moment.
